Hey guys! xD I think it's a record for me, I haven't updated my journal in around four months.

Sorry about that! Basically, I've been enjoying life and haven't felt like putting anything new on here. However, I do get on and check regularly, so if anybody comments on me I will get it.

Anyway, here's what has been going on:

I got through my first year of college! Woo! And I did great too! I have a GPA of 3.9 at this time, I got A's and B's my first semester and all A's my second. I enjoyed my freshman year, I met a lot of new people, made some good friends, saw some old ones, and generally had a good time.

Annoyingly enough, near the end of the year, a girl tripped over my laptop's power cord while I was sitting in the commuter lounge. The next day, it stopped working, and I found that part of the cord had ripped open. My dad took a look at it and felt there was no way to fix it. So I had to borrow my little brother's cord for a while. Only recently was I able to find the same cord (because that is what I wanted and not the replacement cords they sell for it). So I bought it off ebay and it got here really fast. The person had it as Get It Fast, and boy was that the truth. We ordered it on a Friday, it was sent out on Saturday and got to me on Monday. It was nice. The cord is working very nicely, and it is virtually the same as mine. I just hope that this cord lasts for a long, long time.

Speaking of my little brother, my twin brother and I worked at Cedar Point last year, this year it has been turned over to him. It's kind of funny because last year the two of us were gone while he was here alone. This year, we're here alone and he's off at work. I figure he's doing okay, I get to see him every so often. Hopefully, he's having a fairly good experience. I think the way his job and everything worked out is at least a little better than the way mine did.

Anyway, I took a summer class this year and I'm also doing very well money wise, so I don't have to worry about work. I took an online Folklore class. I just finished it last week. We had to do readings every week, then post discussions and every other week we did quizzes and a collection project. The collection project was where we collected folklore on our own. It was actually really interesting. I had never realized just how much folklore there is. Did you guys know that that the song "Happy Birthday," jokes, proverbs, riddles, food recipes, and so many more things are considered folklore. If you guys want a more complete list, just ask. It's actually very interesting how much folklore is all around us. Most likely, anyone who is reading this participates in some kind of folklore, even if you don't realize it.

Also, I am now seriously considering a Creative Writing major (with a computer science minor). For my entire freshman year, I've been undecided. I considered doing Computer Science major, but now I think I'm going to go with Creative Writing. So in the fall I'm going to take two classes for creative writing that I think should help me figure out if I really want to do this or not. What do you guys think? I'd like to know your opinions. Personally, I think I probably could be a writer. I guess we'll see what happens. So that is the really big news for me right now.

Other than that, I've been enjoying my summer. I hang out with *Tiki-Yoshi a lot. We've been playing Samurai Warriors 2, Dynasty Warriors 5 Xtreme Legends and other things. I've also been playing Dragonball Z Budokai Tenkaichi 3. It's really fun, and I've been really really enjoying it. I've gotten pretty darn good at it, and I'm kind of addicted to it. xD It's just so much fun once you start getting good at the game. So, time to wrap up, this journal is getting too long. I hope everyone is having a good summer like I am. I'll be posting some new stuff soon. I just cannot decide what pictures I want to put up. When I do, I'll put some pictures up.
